Golden Milk

One of my favourite warm drinks to have! Since everyone is fighting off the flu or viral infection it's the perfect time to share this recipe.


This drink is rich in flavour and has so many added benefits to it!

It's naturally anti-inflammatory and amazing for your digestion all that and helps boost your metabolism and immunity!



What you'll need:

  • 1 cup of unsweetened milk of your choice (I love this with coconut milk)

  • 1 tsp of organic ground turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp of vanilla bean extract (yes this somehow makes it taste even better)

  • Pinch of cracked black pepper (to help activate the tumeric)

  • Honey for sweetness (optional - I find that I don't need to add that extra sweetness when using coconut milk)

  • For that extra added yumminess you can also add in a few cardamom pods


Add everything to a pot except the honey and bring it to a simmer - stir occasionally


Pour into your mug and enjoy!



*Warning: turmeric tends to stain everything so be careful when dealing with it
